Email finder tools allow you to find almost anyone’s email address.
All you have to do is enter your prospect’s name and website.
I spent a year building an email finder tool for Emailchaser, and I’ve compared my tool to five others.
I tried finding the email addresses of 100 of my existing contacts using my tool (and five others), and I share the results below.
1. Emailchaser: Unlimited free email searches.
2. Voila Norbert: 50 free email searches per month. Their $49 per month plan gives you 1,000 email searches.
3. GetProspect: 50 free email searches per month. Their $49 per month plan gives you 1,000 email searches.
4. Hunter: 25 free email searches per month. Their $149 per month plan gives you 5,000 email searches.
5. Snov.io: 50 free email searches per month. Their $99 per month plan gives you 5,000 email searches.
6. Skrapp.io: 0 free email searches per month. Their $49 per month plan gives you 1,000 email searches.
Below are my results:
Emailchaser is the most accurate email finder tool. It found 91% of all emails. It’s also the only tool that tells you where and how it finds each email.
Emailchaser found 91% of the emails that were searched for.
This is the highest find rate out of all the tools that I tested. There will always be some emails that can’t be found as some people set up their email accounts on secondary domains that are hidden from the public.
Emailchaser gives you unlimited free email searches.
If you upgrade to their $97 per month plan, then you also get access to other features, such as: Campaigns, Sales CRM, LinkedIn Email Finder and Email Verifier.
Emailchaser is definitely the best tool from a usability perspective because it’s the only tool that tells you how each email was found.
Other email finder tools simply show you the email, but they provide no context, meaning that you don’t know whether to trust their results.
Additionally, Emailchaser lets you try their email finder tool for free without needing to sign up for an account. This is much easier compared to other tools that require you to first sign up.
Emailchaser is the best email finder tool on the market.
It’s the most accurate tool, and also the easiest to use.
Emailchaser also offers a LinkedIn Email Finder extension that allows you to export leads with their email addresses from LinkedIn Sales Navigator. This is very useful for list building when doing outbound sales.
Emailchaser also includes a "Bulk Email Finder", which allows you to upload a .csv file with your prospects' names and domains, and it will find all of their email addresses at once.
Voila Norbert found 89% of the emails that were searched for.
Voila Norbert gives you 50 free email searches each month. Their $49 per month plan gives you 1,000 email searches.
Voila Norbert has poor usability because you cannot try their email finder without first signing up for an account. This creates a lot of friction.
Overall, this is an accurate email finding tool, but it doesn’t have the best usability.
GetProspect found 85% of the emails that were searched for.
GetProspect gives you 50 free email searches per month. Their $49 per month plan gives you 1,000 monthly email searches.
GetProspect allows you to try their email finder tool without needing to sign up for an account first. It is simple to use and straightforward.
GetProspect is an ok email finding tool, but it isn’t as accurate as others. It also doesn’t show how it finds emails, so you can’t verify the accuracy of their results.
Hunter found 83% of the emails that were searched for.
Hunter gives you 25 free email searches per month. Their $149 per month plan gives you 5,000 email searches.
Hunter’s usability is not good.
You cannot try their email finder tool without first needing to sign up for an account.
This creates a lot of friction and makes it impractical to quickly find peoples’ email addresses.
Hunter is a viable option if you can’t use the previously mentioned email finding tools. However, there are better alternatives.
Snov.io found 79% of the emails that were searched for.
However, it gave a lot of inaccurate emails, making this tool unreliable.
Snov.io offers 50 free email searches per month. Their $99 per month plan gives you 5,000 email searches.
You can use their email finder tool without needing to be signed in.
However, the results are often inaccurate, meaning that it’s best you don’t use this tool.
Snov.io’s email finder tool is often inaccurate, so I recommend that you don’t use it.
It will give you email addresses that don’t exist instead of simply saying that it couldn’t find the correct email address. This is a problem because sending emails to invalid addresses can negatively impact your deliverability.
Skrapp.io found 74% of the emails that were searched for.
Skrapp.io doesn’t offer free email searches. Their $49 per month plan gives you 1,000 email searches.
You cannot use their email finder tool without first signing up for an account.
This is a poor user experience, since most people don’t want to sign up for something that they haven’t even had the chance to test.
I recommend that you don’t use this email finder tool since it’s not the most accurate, and you can’t even try it without needing an account first.
Emailchaser has the best free email lookup tool. You can do 10 free searches per day without even needing an account.
Emailchaser has the best email finding tool. It finds 91% of emails, making it the most accurate tool on the market.
Emailchaser is the best email finder tool for two reasons:
